Abstract
결론
저자는 서울대학교 치과병원 소아치과에서 내원한 severe overbite와 larger overjet을 지
닌 골격성 Ⅱ급 부정교합환자를 대상으로 cervical Headgear와 anterior bite plate의
compination therapy를 시행하여 다소의 지견을 얻었기에 이에 보고하는 바이다.
1. SNA, Upper Lip to esthetic plane, Lower Lip to esthetic plane의 각도 및 거리의 감
소로 양호한 안모의 개선이 이루어졌다.
2. 1 to FH plane angle이 개선되었다.
3. 과도한 overjet, overbite, curve of spee의 개선이 관찰된다.
4. Class Ⅱ molar relation이 Cl I으로 변화하였다.
#초록#
The headgear is an extraoral appliance which used to distal movement of the teeth,
inhibition of maxillary growth and reinforcement of anchorage. In case of treatment of
Class Ⅱ malocclusion, however, it is not sufficient to simply restrict the horizontal
growth of maxilla but to need treatment on mandibular retrusion. Generally, the
combination theraphy of activator and headgear is conventional, but other study about
comulnatlon therapy with other intraoral removable appliance is done. In this case,
treatments were done by the combination therapy of headgear and anterior bite plate.
The results were followed :
1. Reduction of SNA, upper lip to esthetic plane and lower lip to esthetic plane were
observed.
2. 1 to FH plane angle was corrected.
3. Severe overbite, large overjet, and deep curve of spee was corrected.
4. Class Ⅱ molar relation was changed by class Ⅰ.
